According to an article on a website called PR-inside, sixty-five year old Sir Paul McCartney recently penned a song about his continuing divorce dispute with Heather Mills. The former Beatle has thus far declined to talk to journalist about the matter. It seems we will soon know what he really thinks of his ex.The song is scheduled for release some time this year on his new album London Underground. The article promises we can expect to be surprised by the song.
I personally hope Paul McCartney expresses his anger in the song. It seems clear to me that Heather’s chief motivation for marrying him was to access his wealth. In his grief and uncertainty after the death of his wife Linda, it was probably easy for Paul to make the mistake of choosing to marry Heather Mills. I recall newspaper reports which documented his daughter Stella’s dislike of Heather. Women often have good instincts about these things. Perhaps Paul McCartney ought to have trusted his daughter’s judgment instead of dismissing it as jealousy.
I like Paul McCartney. By all accounts, the man is a modest, practical person. I respect both his music and the fact that he has remained loyal to his working class British roots despite his fame and wealth. I hope Heather Mills will not manage to get her greedy hands on too much of his cash.
