There were no computers in every household then. Young men were burning their draft cards and running to Canada. Young Americans were challenging their parents double standards and the war. Most people still watched the news on black and white TV when the Beatles stormed the world with their music.  They were great.  So were their songs.  Their music reflected  the spirit of those years of Hippies, psychedilic art, long hair, and free love.  "We All Lived in a Yellow Submarine" was wonderful outrageous, then, movie. We all loved it!

Whatever you were doing when Beatles music became popular is where you will go again when you listen to the Beatles, today.  I was a young mother starting out in life.  Times were hard for us then. Listening to John Lennon, Paul MeCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star brought fun into my life then. I loved them and their music.  Now my life is easier, and listening to Beatles music still brings fun into my life along with some nostalgia about those years long ago.
