At the age of 32, on August 27, 1967, Brian Epstein died of a accidental prescription drug overdose. In 1968, John Lennon and Paul McCartney announced that Apple Corps had been formed.
On January 30, 1969 in London, the Beatles final live performance was on the rooftop of the Apple building in Savile Row. Abbey Road was to be the final album for the Beatles band members, that was recorded in the summer of 1969. On Augiust 20, 1969, upon completion of the song, [ I Want You (She's So Heavy) ] would mark the end of the last time that band members, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, were in the same studio together.
In New York City, on December 8, 1980, John Lennon was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman. On November 29, 2001, George Harrison died from lung cancer.
In 2007, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited to discuss Cirque du Soleil's theatrical production called Love, on the Larry King Live show. A remix of original Beatles recordings by George Martin and his son Giles, was created to form a soundtrack for the theatrical production. Also appearing on the show were John Lennon's wife (Yoko Ono) and George Harrison's wife (Olivia Harrison)
