Ever since they parted ways in the 70's and of course some psychopath shot and killed our beloved John Lennon, there has been no Beatles. One is only left to wonder what might have been had Jonn Lennon not been shot that day, or if he had never met Yoko.
Lament as we will, but it can make me annoyed when I still see the Stones rocking out and am wishing that there was a new Beatles CD coming out. Even George Harrison checked out of this world a few years back, leaving only Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr as the only surviving members of the Beatles.
Paul McCartney's new CD "Memory Almost Full" has been selling out all year and I have heard it and loved it; mind you I never got into Wings but this CD is his best solo work and is very reminiscent of the Beatles and their music.
One thing is for sure, the Beatles may be gone forever, but the 200+ songs they wrote honor their legacy. If you are a Beatles nut like I am then you may want to consider going out and purchasing the complete box set, if you don't have a spare $200 I understand. On a final note, the Beatles may never come back to us, but at least they can live forever in their time less songs and message.
