Beatlemania may have died down years back but their songs are still as great as they were then as they are now. The boys from Liverpool, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, have left a footprint on the worldwide music market that will be around for many more decades. Like all significant bands, the Beatles went through different stages of musical and drug experimentation that lead to so some really cool music. Case and point, I am The Walrus. I have attached the music video to this 1967 song written by John Lennon because it is one of my favorites. Lennon has stated that this song was inspired by a couple of acid trips that he had taken and the music video backs up that claim. The lyrics are completely random but fit perfectly. Lennon added lyrics and lines that make no sense just throw listeners off because he knew the song would be analyzed and debated. The inspiration of the Walrus came from a favorite poem entitled The Walrus and the Carpenter.
