Beatlemania was the phenomenon that hit Britain in 1963. The year of 1964 is when The Beatles takes on the rest of the world. Their song: "I Want To Hold Your Hand", released in the US on December 26, 1963, goes from being no.43 to no.1 on the charts in the U.S. By the beginning of April, The Beatles singles ranked on the top five positions on the U.S. Billboard charts and ranked the top six positions on Sydney's singles charts.

January 20, 1964- Meet The Beatles is released in the U.S..
January 30, 1964- The songs: "Please, Please Me/From Me To You", is re-released in the U.S. only.
February 7, 1964- All My Loving is released in the UK.
February 9, 1964- Watched by 73 million viewers, The Beatles appear on the highly viewed show, The Ed Sullivan Show.
February 11, 1964- The Washington Coleseum hosts the first U.S. Beatles concert.
February 12, 1964- There were two concerts in New York at the Carnegie Hall.
February 13, 1964- The Beatles appear for a second time on the Ed Sullivan Show.

June 4, 1964- The Beatles world tour starts off with a concert in Copenhagen, Denmark.
