Paul McCartney and The Beatles Grammy NominationsPaul McCartney has been nominated in the following categories for the 2008 Grammy Awards:  Best Pop Vocal Album for--Memory Almost Full, Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for--Only Mama Knows, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for--Dance Tonight.

Memory Almost Full's first recording session was at Abbey Road, back in the autumn of 2003 which was a project that was started before his last album, Chaos And Creation In The Backyard, which was (released September 2005). Paul's playing around with the mandolin was the basis for the opening track's song, "Dance Tonight"

The Beatles received two nominations for their "Love" album in the categories for--Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media and Best Surround Sound Album. There were two songs from the "Instant Karma-The Campaign to Save Darfur" album, which were nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The Beatle's-related "Across the Universe" soundtrack got in on the category, Best Compilation Soundtrack Album.
