Beatles and Biographies--The Beatles Story--established in 1990, is an award-winning and very well designed visitor attraction, located within Liverpool, England's historic Albert Dock, where you'll see and hear the fab four namely: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr catapult to worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band of all time....The Beatles! John Lennon's sister Julia, does the narration (now available in 9 different languages), on the audio guide entitled the "Living History". The story is told in 18 seperate features including: Woolton Village Fete, where Paul McCartney tells you how he met John Lennon, a walk through the cobbled streets of Hamburg, Germany and watch John, Paul, George, Stuart and Pete play as the Beatles at the Star Club, particularily impressive are the full size replicas of the Cavern Club-at the height of the Merseybeat era, hearing the recollections of the Cavern Club regulars(complete with basement smells!), the Abbey Road studios-hearing how George Martin almost rejected the Beatles before flying off to the United States, the White Room-dedicated to John Lennon's music, lyrics, emotions and quest for peace. Discover the history behind the groundbreaking Sgt. Pepper album before going on an underwater experience in the Yellow Submarine. Finally, explore the break-up of the band, the role they played in the overthrow of the Soviet Union, their solo projects and the everlasting legacy of the fab four.

Coming in 2008--The Beatles Story has recently announced that it is planning a major expansion which will more than double the floor space to provide new rooms dedicated to the solo careers of George and Ringo, a hands-on interactive Children's Learning Center, which will greatly enhance the visitor experience for both school groups and families, a family friendly version of the Living History audio guide, a new temporary space to host themed changing exhibitions throughout the year and a new cafe and relaxation area to complete the process.
